Rounders

“Rounders”
There are many interpersonal concepts used in the movie “Rounders.” This movie is an intense movie about the life of the underground poker players on the streets. Matt Damon stars in the show as a young rounder roaming in and out of different games around the New York area named Mike. Also co-starring is Edward Norton as Worm, Mike’s only close friend in the business. Mike is dealt a painful lesson when he blows his hard-earned money in a huge-stake, underground card club. Mike thinks that he has played his final game and gives up gambling for law school and his girlfriend. Yet Worm and the lure of the game draw Mike back into it where the stakes are much more serious then before. The story shows the dynamics of that relationship between Mike and Worm as other outside events occur in the underground poker business.
