Rosewood

The movie, Rosewood, takes place in Florida consisting of an African American community, where many own property and businesses. Mr. Wright, the only white man to own a business in Rosewood, plans to expand his business and purchasing more land. Although he has an affair with one of his African American employees, he still feels some racism. On New Year’s Eve, a mysterious man comes to town, named Mr. Mann. He stays with Sylvester Carrier and his family, deciding whether or not he wants to stay permanently.
Soon, a great amount of anxiety between Rosewood, and the neighboring white town Sumner arises with many racial disputes to come. A young woman named Fannie, from the white town Sumner, falsely claims that she has been attacked by an African-American stranger. In doing so, she was really covering for her adulte...
