What if you changed the world by merely sitting down? It’s hard to believe that such an insignificant action would change much of anything. We normally don’t think about taking a seat on a bus. The only thought that comes across our minds is to find a pleasurably comfortable seat to relax our exhausted and weary bodies. Rosa Parks, an unknown seamstress in Montgomery, Alabama, took a seat on a bus and the whole world changed.
On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks had had a dreadfully long day at her job. Her entire body moaned and throbbed longingly to sit down.
