Hi, my name is William Waterman Sherman. I have an extraordinary adventure to tell you about. It all began when I was on my journey around the world on August 15, 1883 in San Francisco. My journey was extraordinary because it was in a hot air balloon. I named it Globe because it was so big. I was off on my journey.
I had been in the air for about three days and when I started to lose altitude. I had to throw my trash and most of my furniture off of my balloon. This was a big mistake.
