In the movie “A Walk to Remember” there was another relationship that was formed besides the one between Landon and Jamie. Landon and Jamie’s father formed a relationship. In the beginning of the movie Jamie’s father does not want her seeing or dating other boys. Jamie’s father is a Revlon and has raised her daughter in a very religious household. The fact that Jamie’s father did not want Landon seeing his daughter created tension between them throughout the movie. When Landon finds out that Jamie is dieing of cancer he cares for her constantly and stays by her side until she dies.
