Retreat Talk: How Tug-of-War Relates to You and Relationships with Others

 When you guys were playing tug-of-war, did you ever think that it connected with your life, relationship with friends, and maybe your relationship with God?
 When going through your life, you are going to meet people that don’t agree with everything you do are say.
 Some may be against you and try to pull you away from whatever it is that you are doing, like the team that you were against in tug-of-war.
 But even though it seems that there are so many people against you, you will have friends and other Christians to help you out in your life.
 You also must realize that you’re not always going to win in life, but that doesn’t mean that you should quit.
 Defeat one time does not mean that you are always going to be defeated.
 Just because you lose a battle, doesn’t mean you’ve lost the entire war.
 Especially, do not let a loss put you down in your faith. The world has not ended.
