Within middle school the only worries in life are when play time is and who your girl friend of the week is, and that is the way it should be. Making a life changing choices should not be held in the hands of an eighth grader. Life changing choices should come later on in life, which is why the educational system should make kids go to school until they are 18. At this age a person is more knowledgeable and mature about evaluating decisions. If the educational system did leave going to high school a choice to a 15 year old the outcome would be devastating

Most students that drop out of the school do not go back and get their diploma or GED. This indicates that high school dropouts will never receive a college education, and most descent paying jobs in today’s society you need a college education to qualify for.
