By the Waters of Babylon by Stephen Vincent Benet
is about John the main character who is a son of a priest.
The story is based in the future that went back to the past,
but still is in the future. John comunity has three rules. Not
to go into any dead place except to searched for metal, not
to go east, and not to go acrossed the river and look apound
the place of the god.
John keeps having dreams about the gods. He finaly reliazes to find out what his dream mean and to do that he has to follow his dream to the city of gods. Which means to break the rules, but he learns to follow his instinks. What people...
