When I first learned about what this project was, I thought to myself: What am I going to experience that I already haven’t? After thinking about it for a week or two it came to me. I want to learn more about another religion that is closer to me this year than ever before. Living with my roommate Tara not only lets me get to know her better it also makes an influence in my life. Tara is like me in many ways but in some she is totally different. The difference is our religion. I was raised in an upper class Christian family who attended church every Sunday morning and sat down to dinner every night at 6. Tara did the same except she was raised on Jewish principles and morals. When Tara was celebrating her holidays about 2 weeks ago I was clueless as to what she was celebrating.
