The article I read was called Representing ESL Students in the School Community, this article was about teachers having to deal with people treating ESL students mean. Many ESL teacher have been faced with situations where the testing they have done isn’t at accommodations level or even heard people say that student who do not speak English are being “dumb”. Situations like this are certainly not a conducive to a positive educational atmosphere. So what is a teacher to do?
