Some of these factors may include art, literature, education, religion, and many other dissimilar alterations. According to the humanist writers and thinkers of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, some of these different factors were created to distinguish the Renaissance, an era of rebirth and learning of the ancient Greeks and Romans, from the Middle Ages, a thousand years of ignorance and superstition. In contrast to the Middle Ages, the Renaissance was drastically different from the Middle Ages in both economic, and social ways. First, economically speaking, the Renaissance had completely different systems than the manorial system of the Middle Ages. For example, during the Renaissance, land was not an important issue as it was to the people of the Middle Ages.
