Religion

I think the purposes of myths and stories are something for us to believe in. A myth is usually a story carried on throughout centuries from our ancestors. To believe in something helps us to keep our beliefs as if it was a religion. Belief is influential to many people and that is what keeps people today something to live for, like people who go to mass everyday or someone who prays everyday for the well being of themselves and everyone. What if there wasn’t religion? Well I think if we didn’t have religion most people would be suicidal and break a lot of laws. Religion is almost like another type of government that controls the mind. It gives the person certain limits and if one does good, he or she goes to heaven. Religion usually set rules for people to follow to control themselves.
