Religion vs. Evolution

Religion versus evolution did an Almighty God create man, or is he simply a product of modern science. This question has puzzled scholarly minds for many years and yet will for many years to come. The one that makes the most sense to me is the aspect of religion although evolution has more supporting evidence.
Many people believe that God created the Earth and all the creatures in it although most religions have creation stories as part of their beliefs, those who refer to themselves, as Creationists are mainly Christians. Creationists believe the version of creation found in the Bible in the book of Genesis. In this account, God created the universe, including the earth and all the creatures in it, in six days and rested on the seventh day. Most Christians including myself believe this means six twenty-four hour days.
