Religion, A curse in disguise?!

I sometimes wonder what the prophets and the saints and the preachers and the demy-gods must be doing, (presuming they exist) whenever they see another life lost in the name of religion. This remark needn't be misinterpreted to be from a Satan-devotee... or a demented pessimist... it is in fact from the heart of an honest human, who has given a great deal of thought to the one subject that is seemingly misread by even the connoisseurs of the Bible and the scholars of the Qoran – Religion. I asked myself questions about why there is so much suffering in world today, and unlike Lord Buddha, the answer I got was not ‘desire’, as a matter of fact, it was ‘religion’, the root-cause of most terrorist activities in the modern day. Taking nothing away from Buddha though, religion too is in some ways becoming a desire, a craving to be the most dominant in numbers, to be the majority, so to speak.
