Red Wolf

Red Wolf
The Red Wolf’s scientific name is Canis Rufus (2). They are mostly a brown color with red mixed in different areas such as behind their ears, on their muzzle and towards their hind legs. Some also usually have a thin black stripe down their backs. They are similar to the German Shepard by having tall pointed ears, long legs and big feet. On average the typical adult Red Wolfs weight ranges from 45-80 pounds. Based on studies taken from Red Wolf feces they have determined their diet consists of several different things.
