Recycling in Mozambique

In Mozambique there is not much recycling, apart from the paper recycling factory, which uses chemicals, which are harmful to the environment, which basically means its doing more harm than good. There is also a recycling centre, which is a very small contribution to the conservation of raw materials.

Unfortunately, there is little information of the quantities and types of recycling, practised in Mozambique. Therefore, we cannot fully complete this section of our project. We believe the cause of this lack of information is that there is no significant recycling in Mozambique.

We do know that, located in Mozambique, men and women, collect and clean glass in preparation to be recycled, but there is no proof that the process gets carried out, as year by year ...
