Reading Log of 'The Lumber Room' • What I liked most about ‘The Lumber Room’ is that how the author, Hector Hugh Munro portrays the character, Nicholas in this story. • He portrays Nicholas as a rebellious boy, daring, independent and very imaginative. This can be seen when he entered the Lumber Room. He just did not see a dusty old framed tapestry but a story behind it. He imagined the whole scenario, “Nicholas sat for many golden minutes revolving the possibilities of the scene; he was incline to think that there were more than four wolves”.
