Rates of transpiration


From the set of results I have discovered that the rate of transpiration is faster in windy conditions compared to humid conditions. In windy conditions the time taken for the bubble to move 100mm was only 4 minutes when in humid conditions it took 13 minutes. In the control conditions it took 6 minutes. Transpiration is the loss of water vapour by diffusion through the stomata in the leaves.
