Racism

Prejudice is a complicated thing. It has been around for many years. In fact, I’m sure it’s been around since the beginning of time. Its human nature to be jealous of someone, or scared of someone, or hurtful to someone, just because they are different than you. There are many different kinds of prejudice but, I think the most common form of prejudice is racism.
I believe racism stems from many different things. One is the way, we, as a people, have been raised. Think about your family traditions. You have stories, holidays, mementos, and ideas passed down from generation to generation. Well if early in your family line, there was someone that was racist, and passed on those beliefs through your family, they would eventually get to you -So then those racist beliefs would be very relevant in your life. It would be taught to you when you were young, that everyone that wasn’t like you was bad, or stupid, or just “lower in society.” ...
