Racism has long been a major concern in the United States. Unfortunately, it

has occurred in all ethnicities, races, and religions. However, the most common racism

has occurred in the situation of Whites verses African Americans. Thankfully, one can

say that segregation today is not nearly as prolific as it was in the 1930’s. Segregation

has dropped severely, and hate crimes are not as rigorous as they used to be.

Many schools in that time era were separated by race, and for the most part

white students had the advantage over all other races. African Americans have been

treated cruel, and often times unfairly. Many authors tried to demonstrate the hate
