RACISM IN THE USA
From the beginning of the 17th Century many Africans have been brought to the USA in the condition of slaves. 500.000 slaves have been transported on ships over the ocean in a non-human condition until 1808, when this economical resourse was declared illegal.
However the practice of owning slaves continued, principally in the South. Africans and their descendants were forced to work on plantations under the criminal treatment of the whites. There are many stories about black people that were treated like animals submited to violence or even worse, to the death. This condition of the blacks didn´t change until April 18...
