Purgatory

In our society today, there are certain ideas and actions that are considered to be of the lowest tolerance, which are totally unacceptable. They are the sins that in most people’s eyes should be punished harshly and never ending. These sins differ from culture to culture depending on what that culture’s views are and the standards that they hold high. In our American culture, I would say our views are twisted and our “filter” is so polluted that we don’t even know what to consider sin. But in the rest of this paper I will choose our seven deadly sins and what the punishment should be for each one of them.
I would say the first deadly sin of our culture is idleness. We believe that to be uneconomical with your time and money is a waste of life and your resources. Our culture is so fast pace that the only way to enjoy life is to go as fast as everyone else. To be involved in as much as you can, even if you don’t want to be involved or you aren’t enjoying it.
