I have read two books by Mark Twain: Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. I know a minimal amount of information on Mark Twain, mainly that his real name is Samuel Clemens, he lived on the Mississippi and captained riverboats, and he wrote a lot of satire. Most of what I know about Mark Twain I have learned from my teachers while we were reading one of his books.
I agree with Twain’s statement “the appreciation of beauty depends on the ignorance of danger.” People can appreciate beautiful things more easily if all they can see them for is their beauty and nothing else. It definitely is a more specific version...
