Description of the Case Study
The lots surrounding the historical building located at 595 E. Colorado Boulevard in the City of Pasadena has been approved for development. During this architectural project most of the buildings except for those declared historical will be demolished. In their place a trio mixed-use development will be built (City of Pasadena). This will include 13,500 square feet of ground floor retail and 304 residential units in four new buildings according to the City of Pasadena.
