Programming Languages

A programming language is a vocabulary; a set of grammatical rules for instructing a computer to execute specific tasks. There are many different types of languages, each one has a unique set of “keywords” and a special language rules for organizing the instructions that are given.
The Dade County Medical Association (DCMA) is a non-profit organization that works with and for physicians. Doctors in general, are known for their lack of negotiating and technical skills; therefore, a lot of the tasks that we perform are still done in hard copies. Faxing documents, creating physical files, and obtaining information online and printing it to mail out, are some of the daily activities at the DCMA.
