Procrastination

One of the biggest reasons why assignments get a bad mark or are incomplete is because of procrastination. Procrastination has a bad effect on you and your work. When you procrastinate you don't learn how to discipline yourself, and you get stressed out. This can result in sloppy work or even worse, cheating.
The first reason why procrastination is bad is because the quality of your work suffers. A lot of times if you put off an assignment until the last minute you are less likely to check it for mistakes and correct them accordingly. Also when you rush through an assignment you are more likely to make mistakes that you otherwise could have prevented had you simply taken your time.
