Pro - War in Iraq Speech

This is indeed a necessary war; it is a war that should have been fought years ago. Saddam Hussein has for more then a decade disobeyed UN resolution . Saddam Hussein has to be stopped and if war is the only way to stop him then the U.N. is willing to take him on. It is of course terrible that the time comes when only war can resolve a situation, but methods of diplomacy have been worn out and the time for action is now. We would all love to “give peace a chance” but peace has been given its chance, peace has had the last twelve years. Saddam Hussein has had the past twelve years to comply with UN resolutions. Ever since 1990 when Saddam invaded Kuwait the U.S. and the U.N. have been trying to end his regime. During this time the U.S. found out that he had a massive military with Biological and chemical ammunition also that he was one year from making a nuclear bomb , that’s when the U.N. and the U.S. intervened and pushed the Iraqi army back to ...
