Principles of Animalism

Whatever goes on two legs is an enemy
Whatever goes on four legs, or has wings, is a friend
No animal shall kill any other animal
No animal shall sleep in a bed
No animal shall wear clothes
No animal shall drink alcohol
All animals are equal

The above are the seven tenets of Animalism drawn up by Snowball, Napoleon and Squealer which the animals live by. Animal Farm is the story of a small English farm whose four-legged constituents decide to throw off the yoke of human oppression and run the farm themselves.
