Princess Diana

Princess Diana was a woman of substance and of great importance to many people of all race and cultures throughout the world. When this great woman was taken from our world, everyone everywhere mourned for her and for the two sons she left behind. The day after she had passed away, I was working in a convenience store, and every customer that I waited on that day had something to say about her tragic death and also of all the good things she was known for having done throughout her life. I had never really realized that so many people cared for her in the ways they did. I started asking myself how do so many people in the world feel the way they do when it comes to Princess Diana. Why did so many people feel they had to go to The Royal Palace to pay their respects and leave cards and flowers to a person they never really knew personally in their own lives?
