Q1) Explain the differences between fractional distillation and simple distillation.

Simple distillation is the process used to separate a solvent from a solution with very different boiling points or used to separate a pure liquid from nonvolatile impurities. In this process, the solution is heated so that its liquid component evaporates and escapes as a vapour. The vapour is then cooled and condensed into a liquid called the distillate.
