Although poverty is not an overwhelming issue in the United States as in other countries such as India or Ethiopia, it still plagues parts of the country. Whether or not poverty is fair has long been debated. Constantly, diverse groups of people are trying to come up with ways to improve it. Many people all over the world do not have the means to provide for themselves, therefore, doing whatever is necessary to get by. People in these situations usually value different things and tend to have a different outlook on life. Poverty can really create an environment in which people are at a disadvantage to many simple things in life such as school and work opportunities. Most people who live this life tend to have a gloomy outlook on life and often times pass these behaviors on to their offspring who will usually repeat these behaviors in the future.
