Polymers are large organic macromolecules. As mentioned before, they are linked chemically by small repeating units known as monomers. These units are repeated any number of times from about a hundred to more than a million (represented by the letter ā€˜nā€™).
However, homopolymers- polymers that contain only one monomer do exists. Some examples of homopolymers are polyethene, polypropene and polychloroethene. It might seem quite difficult now to grasp upon the scientific name of these polymers but it will soon be clarify in this ISP.
