poem

The first poem I analyzed was called, “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. The poem has four stanzas. Lines one, three, and four in each stanza rhymes, and lines two and five in each stanza rhyme. Robert Frost did not use any internal rhyme. No metaphors or similes were used in the poem.
I chose pride and dignity as my Roll of Thunder theme because he believed he would make the right decision. No matter what the consequences were he believed the benefits would be greater. A man would have to have a great amount of pride to admit that he had made a decision with consequences.
I thought the poem was very descriptive and it made me put a lot of thought into the poem. When I read the poem, I pictured Robert Frost standing where to roads split. He was trying to make a decision between the two roads, struggling to choose a path. The path tha...
