Pip's Everlasting Friendship

The first, foremost, and most venerable of the three can only lie in Joe. He has been a father, caregiver, friend, companion, and every other occupation known to exist that appeal to Pip’s good will. A modest blacksmith, Joe is the brother-in-law of Pip, married to Georgiana. Without his kindness and support, the Pip’s endurance through his sister’s bringing up by the hand would have ended in a bitter outcome. Although, Joe lacks literacy and education, he compensates with his morals and sound advice. Pip’s nerve is often soothed by this natural understanding of life and uses it to guide himself whenever possible. Joe asks for nothing else but for the relationship betwixt him and Pip to be that of a mother and son. He clearly does not value or desire money, fame, or extravagance.
