Physics lab analysis on life of protozoan.

In order to fulfill the purpose of this lab, it is necessary to derive a formula for copper iodide using the collected data. Our derivation uses fundamental quantitative methods to arrive at a final ratio of iodine to copper in compound and hence a formula unit for copper iodide.

When beginning calculations, we must first find the amounts of copper and iodine that reacted to form the compound. To obtain the reactant mass for iodine, we first take the mass data for Cu + I and subtract from that the prior mass of Cu alone.
