Philosophy

What is Philosophy? Philosophy is a Greek word that comes from two root words: “love” (philo) and “wisdom” (sophy). Therefore philosophy is the “love of wisdom.” Although not all people have a love for wisdom, all humans are questioning beings and practice philosophy every day, to some degree. This intellectual ability separates humans from animals. Philosophy allows us to make sense of the world around us. In Timaeus, Plato presents this idea with the three methods philosophy, through the character Timaeus.
People, who look at the world mythopoeically, believe that the world is a reflection of human qualities, emotions and imagination. Also, mythopoeic relates to myths about gods and goddesses.
