Phantom Interview - Lance Armstrong

A 2,000-mile journey on the roads and through the mountains of France at an average speed of 25 miles per hour.
Seems like the most difficult challenge a human being could face.
But it¡¦s something Lance Armstrong has not only done but has won five times in a row.
The Tour de France, however, is not the most difficult challenge Lance Armstrong has faced.
The national- and world-champion cyclist, two-time Olympian, renowned humanitarian and role model is also a cancer survivor.
Cancer.
¡§It¡¦s a scary word I know,¡¨ he said, ¡§but getting cancer was the best thing that ever happened to me.¡¨
As these words came out of his mouth, I was confused because in my head I saw images of my father¡¦s cancer-stricken body. I saw him growing weaker and weaker, the chemotherapy a failure. Then, I saw his lifeless body in the casket.
