Personal Reminiscense

I will never forget that day in April when my brother, Matt, made a decision I had been dreading. My brother decided to go live with his dad. He was not happy in Thaine, having lived most his childhood in Hot Springs. When my brother left it was a difficult time, but I learned and grew from the experience.
My family had lived in Hot Springs, Arizona, until I was six years old, then we moved to Thaine, Arizona. Matt’s dad still lived in Hot Springs, so every other weekend we met him in Conway. This gave Matt his time to be with his dad. I missed my brother on those weekends, but I always knew he would come back
It was very clear my brother was unhappy being away from his father. Going to a different school made things harder on Matt. He really had a hard time finding friends. All the change, and the hard things he was going through showed up in his grades. He went from making A’s and B’s at school in Hot Springs, to making C’s and D’s at school in Thain...
