Personal Goals for Returning to College

I made application to attend college when I was still a junior in high school. I only applied to one college, and based on my grades, I was accepted. For two years I took the privilege of attending college for granted. I didn’t seriously apply myself to my studies and at the end of my sophomore year I decided not to return to school the following year. This is a decision that I have lived to regret many, many times.

After growing and maturing, I began to realize how important it was to have a college degree, but I didn’t believe that it would be possible for me to return to college to finish obtaining my degree because I work full time and my financial situation is such that I didn’t think I could afford the tuition and books.
