Personal Goals

When thinking about personal goals, I think about a variety of goals that I would like to accomplish. So to narrow things down, I wanted to begin with some short-term goals. My main personal goal at this present time is to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I have known for quite some time that I needed to further my education by enrolling in school, but I always thought of reasons not to. Being employed at Abbott Laboratories for the last couple of years has given me first hand knowledge of not being able to be promoted without having a degree. I also see that there are a variety of things that I need to be trained on in order to work better as a team member and player. While earning my degree, I plan to work full time and use the knowledge I receive and apply it; thus making me feel confident in knowing that I am working more towards my goal to become a better asset to Abbott over all.
