Why doesnt the world go black every time you blink.
The concept of persistence of vision is very simple and very important to the develpoment of Cinema and animation in the 19th Century. At the begining of the 1800s scientists were starting to explore the idea of persisitence of vision and developed a simple but useful theory to explain why the world doesnt go black when we blink and why we still see a picture briefly when we close our eyes.
