Persian gulf war

The Persian Gulf War, also known to Americans a Operation Desert storm, was one of the most defining events in American history. “It was the one war that Americans fought in and had very little loss of life!” Said mother when I asked her about the war and what she thought of it. And that was very true since almost all of the 500,000 troops sent into Kuwait came home safe and sound. This war was also one of technological superiority which greatly favored American forces. The use of guided bombs, missiles and almost invisible planes made it easy for the American forces to take out key targets on the Iraqi battle ground.
