People Who Question Established Truths Are Not Members Of the Majority


Our Society can be divided into two parts where one is mainstream and the other is non-mainstream. Those unable to see outside the box would be that of the mainstream or majority; they would not question or form many independent ideas, while those that see outside the four corners and ask direct questions would be the non-mainstream or minority. These people, not part of the mainstream are excluded from society for sociological and economical reasons; their thought process is not prefabricated by the majority and they are susceptible to loss of their rights due to both majority rule and lack of representation; for these reasons the minority is most likely to question established truths.
Those not part of the majority are excluded from the mainstream society. People are not part of this “mainstream society” for many reasons; these include choice, economic stability, age, race, gender and culture. ...
