Character and Human Understanding

Mankind has never been fully understood and it probably never will. It’s a species that questions it’s own fate and yet simultaneously creates it’s own destiny in the process. So do we define mankind as a whole? If we do then we must take the good with the bad. We admit are bright past along with are dark and derive a meaning from that. But even if we take into account all the past events do we still have an accurate depiction of human character. In the black and white spectrum the answer would be “ yes,” however in the author’s opinion it would be no.
