The two main political parties in the United States are the democratic and the republican parties, and these parties naturally are rivals and hold different views on nearly all of the major issues involved in politics. The democrats and republicans disagree on issues from the environment to women’s rights and even school vouchers.
There have been 18 republicans that included; Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Rutherford Hayes, James Garfield, Chester Arthur, Benjamin Harrison, William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, William Taft, Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and George W. Bush. Then, there have been 17 democratic that included; Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, James Polk, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Grover Cleveland, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and Bill C...
