Pain, Horror, Excitement

Since childhood, I had passion for being in nature. I love the smell of grass, the sound of the birds and the view of attractive landscapes and rivers. I always used to go to green fields near our city Tehran, the capital of Iran, in the company of my family and friends. Also, as Tehran is surrounded by high mountain ranges, I used to spend some of my holidays on those stony mountains. I used to leave home around 4 am when the sky was still dark and drive by a taxi to the mountains at the altitudes around 2000 m north of Tehran. In summer, the weather was a bit hot, but in winter, the mountains were covered with snow and everything was white. Top of the mountain was quiet and high and everything under my feet was so small. I had a big blue knapsack with long ropes, matches, first aid bag and many items like that in it. I used to stay on the mountain 10 to 11 hours. However, once I experienced real mountain climbing, which was an experience of pain, horror and excitement.
