Othello
The scene is set in the streets at nighttime outside Brabantio's house in a city calledd Venice. Roderigo is angry with Iago because he has given Iago money to set him up with Desdemona but she had already eloped with Othello. Iago hates Othello because he expected to get a promotion but Othello chose Michael Cassio. Iago and Roderigo wake up Brabantio and tell him that Desdemona has eloped with Othello. Brabantio does not want Othello as a son-in-law because he is different in color, age, social background as well as culture.
