The lights dimmed, my friend looked up at the screen with his soda in his hand, the moment he had waited so long for had finally arrived, fire bursting through the air, exotic landscapes, massive explosions, laws breaking, friends betraying, good guys fighting, edge of your seat suspense, foreign women, and he was loving it. I could not believe it. We have all seen the advertisements for months. Target Iraq, Countdown to War, Show-Down with Saddam, but to be glued to a big screen tv with such enthusiasum. It left me wondering. Why are people this interested with war? It is simple, bad news is just plain exciting:

War. School shootings. Murder. Bombings. Insider trading. Crooked polititions. Lost school funds. Hate. Drug abuse. Abortion. Cancer. Heart attacks. Exotic diseases. And pedfile priests.
