Organizational Behavior


A definition of Operating Organizational Behavior has many characteristics, and can envelop many areas of an organization. From an individual point of view Organizational Behavior seems simple to understand, but if you examine it little closer, organizational behavior can be a little complicated. According to Robbins, Organizational Behavior, p. 9, can be defined as “behavior within an organization or as a field of study, which investigates the impact that individuals, groups and structure have on behavior within organizations for the purpose of applying such knowledge toward improving an organization’s effectiveness.” In this paper, I will define operating Organizational behavior as it applies to me. With reference to organizational behavior, there are many important functions to consider when operating from a business standpoint, for example, people skills, open communication, training and ethics.
