Orange County is a great movie because it depicts the trials of being a teenager, the good times of teenage years, and has a happy ending like any great movie. In Orange County, Shaun Brumder, the main character, experiences different stages in his life in only a short amount of time. Shortly after the death of his friend, Shaun realizes he needs to change his life to become something great by moving away, and then he has to face the fact that he may never leave the horrible city of Orange County. Finally he realizes he is good enough and so is his family and friends to start his career in his home, Orange County.
Shaun is determined that the only way for him to make something out of his life is to get out of Orange County. Shaun spends high school only concerned about where the biggest swells of waves are and getting high with his friends.
